Weekly Verse #20

Hey Everyone!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

How are you all?! It’s been awhile since we’ve talked, I know. I’m sure you are all wondering where I’ve been (probably not, but I’ll tell you anyway) and sadly it wasn’t anywhere fun or interesting. Mostly what happened was that I got sick and then I’ve been having trouble getting back into my usual school and blog rhythm.

I love the cloudy fog in this photo.
So pretty………………..

Anyway, now that you know where I have been the past couple weeks, here is our verse for this week:

1 Corinthians 13.4-7

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Honestly, this verse kind of overwhelms me. On the one hand I just feel like how in the world could I ever do all this for anyone, how could I love anyone this fully and completely. And then I remember that God loves me this much and this way and I just want to cry, because God’s love for us is so incredible.

What stands out to you from this verse? How have you been? Does anyone have any prayer requests?

  1. I’m sorry to hear you were sick, but I’m happy you’re better now!! Those snow pics are so pretty 💙
I feel the same way about those verses!! It’s amazing to me just how much God loves all of us 💖 What stood out to me most from the verses was: “It is not irritable or resentful.” I needed to read that as I’ve been having some emotional struggles recently.
I hope that you have a beautiful week, Esmeralda!

  2. Hi, Esmeralda! I hope you’re doing better. 😊 The pictures are so pretty! They definitely reflect cold season. — That is one of my favorite verses! It’s just a beautiful reminder to show people the love of Christ because 1 John 4:19 says, “We love because He loved us first.” Since we are imitators of Jesus, we are to love everyone! 💕
