Spring Pictures and Life Update

It was really springy feeling for a couple of days here and now it’s gray and chilly out, ugh. I just want it to be sunny and warm! Haven’t we earned it after a long and cold winter!?

Mini Life Update

We are in the process of having a farm store built (they just started today)! It is really exciting because we have been selling our milk, cheese and meat out of our garage since we moved here. I will have to take some pictures of the contrast. 😀

School is going well, I guess. I am so looking forward to finishing though (who isn’t)! Just a couple more months and it will be summer vacation!

We had piglets born a week or so ago and another calf born. We also got our broiler chicks! I really need to take pictures of them soon.

I have been reading a lot recently, probably more then I should be. I just read Michelle Obama’s Becoming and loved it! I have also found several new authors that I really enjoy and have been inspired to write some mini-reviews, so keep your eye out for more book related posts from me!

My new favorite food is baked potatoes with melted cheese, salt and butter. I could almost live on them. I wish that I had started eating them at the beginning of the winter and not at the end.
