Wintery Photos//feat. Pieces – Steffany Gritzinger

Unreserved, unrestrained

Your love is wild

Your love is wild for me

It isn’t shy, it’s unashamed

Your love is proud to be seen with me

‘Cause You don’t give Your heart in pieces

You don’t hide Yourself to tease us

Uncontrolled, uncontained

Your love is a fire, burning bright for me

It’s not a spark, it’s not just a flame

Your love is a light that all the world will see

All the world will see, that You don’t give Your heart in pieces

You don’t hide Yourself to tease us

Your love’s not fractured

It’s not a troubled mind

It isn’t anxious, it’s not the restless kind

Your love’s not passive, it’s never disengaged

It’s always present, it hangs on every word we say

Love keeps its promises, it keeps its word

It honors what’s sacred, because its vows are good

Your love’s not broken, it’s not insecure

Your love’s not selfish, Your love is pure

You don’t give Your heart in pieces

And You don’t hide Yourself to tease us

Pieces – Bethel Music

Hey Everyone.

I love this song so much. I been listening to it over and over again for the past couple days. It is such a beautiful illustration of God’s love for us. It always makes me want to cry.

Have you heard this song? What have you been listening to? Do you have snow where you live?

P.S. Hannah is having a really fun giveaway! You should go check it out!

January 2020 Playlist//An Icy Day

Hey Everyone.

Last week we got rain and it coated everything with ice. All of the tree branches, weeds, bushes and blades of grass visible, were coated in a thin clear glistening layer of ice for two days. It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful! When the sunlight hit the tree branches covered in ice the tree looked like it was covered in lights. Anyway, during this time I made it outside with the camera and managed to take some pictures and now I am going to share them with you!

As I mentioned in my Goodbye 2019 post I love music, singing and listening to music. Every month or so I come up with a playlist for myself and like I have a couple of other times, I decided to share a version of my January playlist with you all. So let’s get started!

BIBPC #6 Team Bear
Go Team Bear!!

This weeks category was tradition!

This picture represents last night’s nativity walk! My family has been doing a nativity walk sometime during the week of Christmas or the week before Christmas for several years now and it has become a family tradition! We invite our family and some close friends to come do it with us!

I would love to hear about your Christmas/Holiday traditions and plans in the comments!!

P.S. Team Bear is still in first place!!

Weekly Verse #11

Hi Everyone!!

I’m back! It was great to have a short break from blogging, but I’m glad to be back!

It snowed!! I can’t believe it! Honestly it has taken me all week to come to terms with the fact that it is not fall anymore, it’s WINTER! I (think that I) am ready to enjoy the beautiful snow.

I love how this picture turned out!
I took all of these pictures out of the window by my desk, all at different times of the day and several different days.

Anyway, now for this weeks verse:

Psalm 65. 1,5,9,11

Praise is due to You, O God, in Zion…By awesome deeds you answer us with deliverance…You visit the earth and water it, you greatly enrich it.. You crown the year with Your bounty.

What stands out to you about this verse? I love how it says that GOD visits the earth and waters it.

Do you have plans for Thanksgiving? We are having some family over and having a delicious feast together! What is your favorite Thanksgiving food? I can’t choose one favorite! 😀

Thank you for reading! I can’t wait to hear from you in the comments!!

Have an amazing week! I’ll be back on Friday or Saturday with a thanksgiving post.

Weekly Verse #6

Hey Everyone!

How was your weekend? On Sunday we had friends come over to help us split our wood. It was very fun! Of course I didn’t have to be out in the cold, I got to stay inside with my baby sister. 😀  I love seeing our growing wood pile! It means fall is really here and that winter is on it’s way. We gave in and decided to light our fire a few days ago, I absolutely love getting up in the morning it not being freezing cold!

Isn’t this beautiful!! It is a sunflower bud!

Our verse for this week is:

2 Corinthians 4.6

For it is the God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

For some reason, I love verses about Light and God’s light! When you think of light what do you think of? The sun, the stars, a lamp, the moon, etc?

Thank you for reading!!!
