Weekly Verse #22

Hey Everyone!

I am so sorry that I once again missed my second posting day, I had a fun and busy weekend and just didn’t make it to the computer. This week I am planning to do a photo collab with Kaelyn and her sister Lauren, so keep an eye out for it!

I found these shells in my drawer and I decided to take some pictures of them. I love how they make the shape of wings or almost a heart.
Isn’t it beautiful how you can see all the lines on the shell?

Here’s our verse for this week:

Psalm 147.15-18

The LORD sends out His command to the earth; His word runs swiftly. God gives snow like wool; God scatters frost like ashes. The Lord hurls down hail like crumbs – who can stand before His cold? The Lord sends out His word and melts them; He makes His wind blow and the waters flow.

My mom chose this verse partly because of all the wind we have been having recently. Yesterday a huge branch fell in our driveway and my parents had to deal with it. The wind has been absolutely crazy, so strong. I think that wind has a dangerous beauty, kind of like fire.

This verse makes me think about how powerful our God is! It is crazy when you think about everything he does, how he controls the wind and snow!

What does this verse make you think about? Do you agree that wind and fire have a similar dangerous sort of beauty?
